Inspired by the innovative approaches, imaginative designs, and inventive technologies that shape the future of events, we take a look back at the special portfolio of conferences and events we have organized in the past.
Specifically, looking into the Educational Seminar “Laparoscopy is Here to Stay.” This innovative seminar aimed to better approach and familiarize participants with laparoscopic urinary tract surgery. Through live broadcasts, three-dimensional surgeries, and hands-on training, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills on the unique topic of Laparoscopy. The event took place at the White Cross Clinic, a venue equipped with the latest infrastructure and amenities, ensuring an excellent environment suitable for learning and professional development. An event that couldn’t be possible without Professor E. Liatsikos, President of the Hellenic Urological Association, President of ESU, and Chair of the event, who we thank for his trust, and the Mentor White Cross for their support.
Another notable example is our partnership with Node Institute, supporting its remarkable work in empowering health care professionals, young doctors, and surgeons. Node Institute excels in providing specialized and innovative training programs that blend theoretical knowledge with practical application. Using state-of-the-art equipment, they aim to advance surgery and medicine in Greece. In this respect, Node Institute has successfully implemented surgical training programs, benefiting hundreds of doctors across Greece with over 4,000 hours of comprehensive training. These programs have ensured the participation of top-notch speakers, trainers, and surgeons from both Greece and abroad.
We, at AFEA Congress, are honored to have partnered with Node in the organization of numerous hands-on training and cadaveric courses and scientific events over the years. The second cycle of this year’s C.LA.S.S. Course is a recent testament to this collaboration. The Node Institute’s C.LA.S.S. Courses began when Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery was still in its early stages and today, they are one of the most prestigious, intensive, and comprehensive training programs in the field of Colorectal Surgery. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Constantine Mavrantonis, the founder of Node Institute, and the entire Node team for their unwavering trust and valuable partnership over the years.
The incorporation of alternative and innovative methods of training and learning in scientific events makes a prime example of the fusion of innovation and creativity, inspiring new approaches in the field of scientific conferences and training seminars. We look forward to continuing to contribute and support the organization of successful and innovative events, responding to the demands of today’s professional scientific environment and promoting excellence in all our endeavors. Our commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences remains unwavering, as we strive to inspire and equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary for the future.
